The ACH PICU Pain, Agitation, Delerium and Withdrawal program (PADW) seeks to maximize pain relief, optimize sedation and minimize delirium and withdrawal in critical ill children. This document illustrates the pathway to follow when treating a child suffering from pain and agitation according to clinical best practice.
