Overview
This guideline will provide current definitions and management strategies for Pediatric ARDS based on the best evidence and offer a pragmatic algorithmic approach to these strategies. In situations where the recent PARDS guidelines do not recommend treatment, but robust adult literature shows benefit, these strategies have been incorporated into this guideline, allowing the bedside clinician to consider and personalize to the patient’s individual needs as indicated.
