Status epilepticus is a common pediatric emergency. Our treatment algorithm is outlined here. Appendix A contains our neonatal seizure algorithm. Appendix B contains the recommended investigations. It is recommended these investigations be considered in conjunction with those indicated in our Encephalitis document.
