Overview
Tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) is a potentially fatal complication of certain malignancies that may rarely occur spontaneously, but most often occurs at the initiation of chemotherapy. Deciding which child is at highest risk and when to initiate CRRT can be problematic. This document outlines TLS risk prediction and the key criteria to consider when considering CRRT.
