Overview

At the ACH, CPAP/BiPAP/tracheostomies can be managed on most inpatients units if certain criteria are meet as described on this document. Children requiring long term ventilatory support for > 16 hrs. per day as NIV or tracheostomy enabled invasive ventilation are usually placed on Unit 2 Yellow Wing.
